玛丽的石头, PhD became a full-time faculty member in the bet亚洲365欢迎投注 Psychology Department in 2014. Previously a 访问ing Professor in the School Psychology Program and Director of the Preschool Masters Specialization at 为dham University’s Graduate School of 教育, Dr. Stone teaches courses in both the undergraduate psychology program and Masters in School Psychology Program at Marist. 在学术界工作之前,Dr. Stone worked as a school psychologist in both school-based and clinical settings in Connecticut. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and has worked with children and adolescents with diverse learning, 行为, 情感, 发展需要. 除了, she has extensive experience consulting with parents, 治疗师, and educational staff to enhance the learning and social-情感 outcomes of students from preschool through high school. Dr. Stone uses her decade of experience as a practicing school psychologist to help prepare undergraduates and graduate-level students interested in working with children and adolescents in educational settings.She teaches undergraduate courses in child development, 教育心理学, and childhood exceptionalities and graduate courses in personality, social-情感-行为 assessment, 和精神病理学. Dr. Stone is also the faculty advisor to the Marist Chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honors Society in Psychology.

Dr. Stone’s pri玛丽 research interests relate to the assessment of adaptive skills and quality of life in individuals with autism spectrum disorders, the development of learning strategies in early childhood, and the use of mindfulness-based interventions in educational settings.
